Inter Milan star Lautauro Martinez will not be joining Tottenham this summer, despite them making an offer for him.
That’s according to his agent, who has insisted that the Argentine is focused on signing a new deal at the Italian giants.
Martinez has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham over the last two weeks, with it believed they’re keen to make a big-money move for him.
Indeed, a report two days ago suggested they are ready to go big to get a deal done, with Corriere Dello Sport reporting that they had put an offer of €85m plus €10m in bonuses on the table, trumping the €60m reports from England.
It seems any effort will be in vain, though, as his agent has insisted his client will not be on the move this summer.
“Today, he is not leaving Inter despite offers from England,” he told TyC Sports.
“He’s happy there and loves the club. Next week I’ll get together to talk about renewal. Our will is clear, but it will also depend on them.”
