Leeds United winger Luis Sinisterra doesn’t mind showing his big affection for his former club Feyenoord.

The 23-year-old was interviewed by the Dutch side’s official channels, and just a few months after his departure to Elland Road, he already claimed he may be back at the Eredivisie club in the future.

“Hopefully this will be my home forever. I’m not saying bye, but see you later. Maybe I’ll come back in the future. I’d love it if that happened, but it was time for the next step in my career. I wish the team a great season. They’re doing great. I wish everyone the best,” said Sinisterra (via Soccer News).

The Leeds player also claimed that while in England, he’ll continue to follow the Dutch club.

“I try to stay informed as much as possible and to follow as many matches as possible. Sometimes that’s difficult, because we often play around the same time, but I always check the app.”

Feyenoord were Sinisterra’s first club in Europe. The Dutch side signed him from Colombian club Once Caldas in a €2m deal in 2018, and in these four years, he had 35 goals and 29 assists in 113 appearances for them.

His good performances in Eredivisie were what convinced Leeds United to move for him and spend €25m on his signing in the summer window. Featuring for the Whites so far, he has three goals and one assist in ten appearances.

Due to a foot injury, Sinisterra has not featured in the Elland Road’s side latest matches, and with Colombia out of the World Cup, that break is useful for him to have a calm recovery.
