Adrián Embarba has been at Rayo Vallecano for over six years and has been impressing for them since the start of the 2016/17 season.

This campaign, the winger has amassed seven goals and 11 assists in the Segunda División and it’s caught the attention of clubs in England, particularly Norwich City, West Ham United and Leeds United.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Daniel Farke’s side, the Hammers and the Championship club have recently showed interest in the 27-year-old.

Unfortunately for the three English clubs, they’ll find it hard to sign him in the winter market.

That’s because Espanyol are also interested in the player.

There was a meeting between the club’s officials, Embarba’s agent Juanma López and Rayo Vallecano yesterday. Espanyol raised their offer to €8m, but Rayo are demanding €10m.

Despite the difference, there’s a feeling an agreement will be reached for Embarba to join Espanyol and the latter will end up beating the likes of Norwich, West Ham and Leeds for this transfer.
