According to a couple of reports of Germany it can be assumed Norwich City, or maybe Huddersfield Town, are very close to signing Mario Vrancic from Darmstadt.

Kicker claim that Vrancic is on his way to signing for either Norwich City or Huddersfield Town. They’re not completely sure which one, but are absolutely sure the midfielder is on his way to England and will soon be playing for a new club.

The transfer fee either Norwich or Huddersfield pay will be €750k, that’s because Vrancic secured himself a buyout clause in his Darmstadt contract, so the 28 year old can leave for a knockdown fee.

Whichever club signs him wants to announce it this week, say Kicker.

Bild go straight with Norwich City, not even mentioning Huddersfield Town as an option for the player. They too say everything is set and Vrancic will sign imminently for his clause of €750k.

This looks like it’s leaning towards Norwich City.
