Earlier this week, we covered a report from German publication Bild, who claimed negotiations between Hannover and Norwich City for Timm Klose were in ‘full swing’ and even suggested a deal could be completed this week.
The centre-back’s current deal at Carrow Road runs down after the end of the season and Bild reported the Canaries have decided against offering him a new contract.
Another German outlet Kicker now claims the Bundesliga side have agreed personal terms the 30-year-old, but they are yet to find an agreement with the Championship club. If the English outfit’s manager, Daniel Farke, has to decide the defender’s future, then he is likely to stay.
However, Norwich must raise funds and to do that, they need to let go of their players. The report claims they are demanding €3.3m from Hannover for Klose, which could make it difficult for the latter to sign the Swiss international.
The price tag demanded is deemed ‘too expensive’ for André Breitenreiter’s side and thus, the player’s transfer to the HDI-Arena could collapse.
