Norwich City forward Christos Tzolis is travelling to Twente today to finalise his loan move to the Dutch side.

That’s according to Voetbal International and De Telegraaf journalist Jeroen Kapteijns, who both provide an update on the move today.

We covered a report for the Netherlands yesterday that stated Twente were interested in Tzolis and discussing a loan deal with Norwich for the forward.

Both Kapteijns and VI back that up, with the former stating that the player ‘travels to Enschede today’ before undergoing his medical tomorrow. Should that go to plan, he will spend a season on loan with the Dutch side.

That agreement does not include an option to make it a permanent one, with the journalist saying a transfer is ‘unfeasible’ for Twente.

VI back that up but add that Norwich have refused to have such an option included as they still have ‘high hopes’ for the player at Carrow Road.

They say a deal is now on the cards, with Twente set to ‘iron out the final details’ with the Championship side today.
