Following reports from the English media claiming Norwich City are negotiating with Real Betis for the loan of William Carvalho, we now get to see the slant from the Spanish media about this rumour.

AS went after the story and, after speaking to their own sources, found out that it’s ‘hard’ for the clubs to agree a move for this summer.

It’s claimed that the Canaries are ‘not used to paying big salaries’, and furthermore, Betis would like to receive a fee, as they’d feel less of a loss after spending €16m on his signing three years ago.

AS doesn’t say what his salary is or what the price for the move would be. All they do is make it clear that the situation isn’t easy to be unlocked.

Willian Carvalho hasn’t been getting many minutes at Real Betis lately, and that’s the main reason why a loan would be a viable option for him this summer. AS say the final days of the transfer window could still hold a ‘surprise’ for his future.
