Norwich City are reportedly on the verge of signing Nélson Oliveira from Benfica.
According to A Bola, the striker is already in England to negotiate personal terms, but the agreement between the clubs hasn’t been reached yet, since it’s still unknown if he’s going permanently or on loan with an option to buy.
The 25-year-old is not part of Benfica’s plans and has been linked to several British clubs in the past weeks, including Swansea City, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City.Oliveira already had two loan spells in British football. He spent six months at Swansea City in 2015, when he scored one goal in 11 appearances, and also played for Nottingham Forest last season, which he finished with nine goals in 29 matches.
