Chelsea winger Lucas Piazon is changing clubs once again, according to claims on Wednesday.
Italian website Tutto Mercato Web is the one bringing the news saying the player is being called back from his loan spell at Rio Ave.
They claim that following a ‘positive experience’ at the Portuguese side, he should now spend the rest of the season somewhere else.
The outlet names three clubs who could land the 26-year-old: Bordeaux, Norwich City and Stoke City.
The report doesn’t bring any more details, not saying if any of these clubs is ahead of the others, or if the transfer will be a loan or a permanent move.
Lucas Piazon made 12 appearances for Rio Ave this season, with two goals and one assist. This was his seventh loan spell since joining Chelsea in 2012, as he’s already had loans at Malaga, Vitesse, Eintracht Frankfurt, Reading, Fulham and Chievo.
With his previous spells in the Championship, perhaps Norwich City and Stoke City could be interesting destinations for him, as joining Bordeaux in the Ligue 1 would be a completely new experience.
His contract with the Blues expires in 2022.
