Ralf Fährmann’s move to Norwich City has been a complete disaster.
Joinging on loan from Schalke in the summer window, the German media expected the goalkeeper to get regular minutes in the Premier League.
He was leaving Schalke as there was no way past Alexander Nubel, but the latter has since agreed to join Bayern Munich next summer and has been having a wobble with his form, with lots of criticism going his way and suggestions he may now be sidelined until he leaves.
In hindsight, Fährmann would probably have been better staying where he was, where he’d have now faced a tussle to be first choice, instead he’s had to deal with very limited minutes at Norwich City.
The German media recently made clear he’d be leaving when the summer window opens, and his wife has also made clear their frustration on social media.
Now it looks like Fährmann is leaving earlier.
Aftonposten have pictured the Schalke owned player at SK Brann’s stadium, along with his agent, and he’s set to sign for the Norwegian club, again on loan.
Norway’s transfer window doesn’t close until April 1st, which means the deal can go through.
