Norwich City are in the picture for Bröndby IF striker Mathias Kvistgaarden and potential competition for French club Lens.

That’s according to Tipsbladet, who report that Norwich are in the picture for the 23-year-old this summer.

They explain that Lens have already made an offer for the Bröndby forward and are positive about securing his signature this summer. The two clubs are currently in negotiations about a deal for the striker.

Those talks are going positively, so positively in fact that Lens believe that there is an agreement between the clubs and a transfer will happen at some point.

However, there is no agreement in place with Kvistgaarden and that gives Norwich their push into the situation. They are also in the picture for Kvistgaarden this summer. Eintracht Frankfurt are also keen on the striker after he scored 23 goals in 38 games last season.

Tipsbladet have no information on the offer from Lens but know that Bröndby will want a lot of money for their star man. According to their information, the valuation is around €13m. That would make him the most expensive sale in the club’s history.

Whether that’s a price Norwich City would be willing to pay isn’t clear, but they may need to move quickly if they want Kvistgaarden this summer.
