Mexican side Chivas Guaralajara are in talks for a friendly match against West Ham United.

The information was revealed by the club themselves, who in an event this week, talked about their intentions to ‘expand their operations’ with the United Kingdom.

To announce their partnership with the He For She movement, Chivas received on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women the ambassador of United Kingdom in Mexico, Jon Benjamin.

And in their statement, the Mexican club writes that among their actions, they ‘talked about the possibility of organising an exhibition match between West Ham United and Guadalajara’s Chivas Rayadas’.

The Mexican media is now excited with this possibility, as the potential friendly with West Ham caught most of their attention.

Now a few websites, such as Soy Futbol, wonder when this match match be played.

They guess it would be in the summer of 2022, as despite the Mexican club being free in December, that would be hard for the Hammers to be available.

The outlet even takes a look at Chivas’ recent history against English clubs, as they played Bolton Wanderers, Manchester United, Swansea City and Arsenal.
