Croatian coach Ivan Juric has two possible destinations ahead of him in the summer when he leaves Torino, West Bromwich Albion or Lille.
That’s according to Telenuovo, who say Juric will be leaving Torino after a disappointing season for the Italian side.
Juric has found himself under increasing pressure at the end of this season, with Granata president Urbano Cairo having been sending out thinly veiled complaints for weeks.
Telenuovo say the obvious conclusion to that is the departure of Juric and he will be leaving at the end of the season, but that does not mean he will be out of work.
Rather, according to their information, he has two options in front of him, West Bromwich Albion and Lille.
Now, we have seen this claimed in Italy repeatedly, and it’s a little nonsensical.
From a purely West Brom standpoint, they are more than happy with Carlos Corberán in charge and given he’s just led them into the play-offs and a shot at the Premier League, it seems highly unlikely they’re looking to change.
Even if they miss out on promotion the Spaniard is well liked at the club and doing good work so there’s very little chance he’d be moved on in favour of Juric.
Lille may be more likely if Paulo Fonseca doesn’t’ renew his deal but even then, they may have higher targets than a manager who has only won one more game than he’s lost with Torino this season.
