Fanatik say ‘no real progress’ has been made in Galatasaray’s pursuit of Manchester City defender Jason Denayer.

The Belgian defender wants to rejoin Galatasaray following his loan spell with the club during the 2015/6 season, but Manchester City are still holding firm as they don’t want Denayer to play in the Turkish League.

The Turkish newspaper report Galatasaray have been unable to made any progress to sign Denayer from the Premier League side, but the Turkish club are still determined to get his signature before the transfer window closes.

Fanatik say if Galatasaray don’t manage to land Denayer, the club are willing to wait until the winter transfer window, as Gala’s board and coaching staff are keen to bring in the Manchester City player.
