The agent of Fenerbahce defender Jayden Oosterwolde has been quizzed by the Turkish media following reports of interest from other clubs, including West Ham United.

The Dutchman has been linked with a move to the Hammers this summer, along with Nottingham Forest.

GS Gazete have reported on comments Timur Kunt made to Ekol TV in which he said there have been no offers yet for his client. Kunt went on to say Fenerbahce are keen to keep the player at the club following interest from local rivals Galatasaray.

“There is no question of him going to Galatasaray. He has a contract, and the president never wants to let go. There are no offers from other clubs yet,” said Oosterwolde’s agent.

Again, the Turkish media outlet has backed up West Ham’s interest in the Dutchman, but they are likely to face competition from AS Roma and Galatasaray… although the latter appears ruled out.

Only yesterday we covered reports from Turkey that West Ham are continuing to monitor the 23-year-old as they look to bring in the versatile defender. Oosterwolde can play either centre back or left back.

It was also reported Forest, Ipswich Town, Brentford and Parma are watching the youngster closely.

Oosterwolde made 39 appearances for Fenerbahce last season, scoring 2 goals. He’s contracted to the Yellow Canaries until June 2027.
