On Monday evening, reports from the French media claimed that Everton star Richarlison could become a target for Paris Saint Germain in the final days of the transfer window.
According to RMC, the Brazilian forward is an option in case the Ligue 1 side lose Kylian Mbappé, with Real Madrid hovering for the Frenchman.
Neymar, Richarlison’s international teammate, was said to have presented the Everton man’s name to the Paris club.
However, as far as Sport Witness understands, no contact has yet been made.
The final days of the window could throw up transfer surprises, especially this year with so much business yet to do, and the Mbappé domino falling would likely see others follow.
Richarlison has also been linked with Real Madrid this summer, and Carlo Ancelotti didn’t kill the rumour when given the chance to do so by the Spanish media.
A move to PSG to play alongside Neymar and Lionel Messi, and get near-guaranteed Champions League football, would undoubtedly be tempting for the Everton player, but there’s been no contact yet.
