AC Milan are facing competition from Leeds United to sign Charles De Ketelaere this summer.
On July 7th, reports from Belgium stated the Whites have made an offer of €30m plus €7m in variables to Club Brugge, and are convinced the Serie A winners cannot match their proposal.
It was also explained the forward prefers the Rossoneri, but Leeds are hoping to convince him to join them.
Italian journalist Luca Marchetti told Sky Italia, relayed by MilanNews, the 21-year-old’s desire is to make a move to the San Siro despite the Premier League being ‘highly attractive’.
That’s because Stefano Pioli’s side have won the title and will play in the Champions League next season. For now, Milan ‘wins’, but they will have to wait and see how the negotiations progress with the Jupiler Pro League winners and if other clubs join the transfer battle.
The former don’t want to pay in excess of €30m. They plan to sell two of their players in order to help them sign De Ketelaere.
Les discussions se poursuivent, posément et calmement. Tout se passe bien pour le moment, chez toutes les parties. Aucun changement dans la position de Leeds, qui doit attendre. #mercato #DeKetelaere #ACMilan #Leeds
