Fanatik report Fenerbahce are now targeting Mexican defender Diego Reyes, but the Turkish club face strong competition from West Ham United and Newcastle United.

The Turkish newspaper report Damien Comolli has spoken with Reyes’ agent Matias Bunge and the Yellow Canaries have reportedly made an offer.

It’s reported that Fenerbahce have offered a lucrative salary to the player, who is available on a free transfer after being released by FC Porto.

However, it’s claimed despite this offer from the Turkish side, Newcastle United and West Ham are keeping tabs on the Mexico international.

According to Fanatik, after the signing of Issa Diop and Fabian Balbuen, it’s unlikely West Ham can offer Reyes regular first team football and therefore Newcastle and Fenerbahce remain the likeliest options for the player.

The former Porto defender missed the World Cup due to injury and Reyes’ agent is presenting medical reports to the clubs that he’s talking with.
