Galatasaray attacker Garry Rodrigues has told the Turkish media he would consider a move if a serious offer comes in for him.
The 27 year old has been linked with a transfer to Newcastle United and again it’s reported the Premier League want to sign him.
Speaking to Sabah, Rodrigues was asked about the possibility of leaving this summer: “I am happy here and I want to stay here. Surely, if you get a serious offer from a good team for both me and the club, we will talk and look at it.”
Earlier this month it was reported Newcastle United are lining up an offer of €23m for Rodrigues after failing to sign him in previous windows.
The Premier League side in recent weeks have been getting a lowdown on the player after sending scouts to watch him in Turkey, and it’s now stated they’re ‘ready to go to the table’ for talks over a transfer.
Sabah say Rodrigues is asking for an increase in his salary from Galatasaray after becoming a key player at the club, and it’s certain Newcastle United could meet his demands if his current club won’t.
Everton are also interested in the Cape Verde international say Sabah.
