Newcastle United attacking midfielder Siem de Jong is set to make his debut for PSV, according to reports in the Netherlands. De Jong joined the Dutch champions in the summer on loan after failing to make an impact in his time at Newcastle United.

Voetbal International have today reported De Jong will be involved in the game against Roda JC Kerkrade, after the player was informed by PSV coach Phillip Cocu that he’s to get a chance.

De Jong has yet to play for his new club because he signed just before the international break, but has turned out for the PSV reserve team, for which he scored a stunning goal.

The Newcastle United attacker will be replacing his brother Luuk de Jong, who is serving a suspension, but Manchester City loanee Oleksandr Zinchenko will still be unavailable following his move to PSV in the summer.

PSV will be hoping they can get back to winning ways in the cup after their loss to leaders Feyenoord on Sunday.
