Every week or so, claims come from the French media about clubs being interested in Antero Henrique. His last job was with PSG, and he had a mixed time with the club, including conflicts with players such as Adrien Rabiot.
Since he left he’s been linked with several jobs, with Manchester United getting the most attention. It’s even been claimed he was working for the Old Trafford club during the winter market, and some in the French media credited him with masterminding the Bruno Fernandes signing, which wasn’t very believable.
Since Newcastle United’s proposed takeover by a Saudi consortium was revealed, they’ve been linked too.
France’s RMCSport now report that those potential investors have already contacted Henrique about taking up a role with them. The idea is that he’d be pulled into the Newcastle leadership, and line transfers up for the coming windows.
Henrique is presented as being tempted by the potential Magpies role, and it’s once again stated he has other clubs interested too. Again, it’s all questionable, and it’s a mystery that if the transfer guru is so wanted, why he hasn’t actually found a job yet.
