Takvim report Newcastle United are interested in Besiktas midfielder Dorukhan Tokoz ahead of the summer transfer window.
Its claimed Newcastle United officials have been following the player’s progress for a while and the club’s recruitment team are waiting for their scouts’ final reports on the 22 year old central midfielder.
Dorukhan joined Besiktas from Eskisehirspor on a free transfer at the start of the season and he’s become one of the most important players in Senol Gunes’ team.
The youngster was also linked with a move to West Ham United earlier this season, whilst Serie A clubs Sassoulo and Genoa are said to be interested.
Besiktas may be forced to sell him due to their financial problems and Takvim say Newcastle United will make a decision soon whether to pursue him during the next window.
Dorukhan has made 18 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig for Besiktas this season and scored 3 goals. He is under contracted at the Vodafone Arena until June 2021.
