According to a claim in the Turkish media, Brighton & Hove Albion and Newcastle United could make an offer for Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida.
Takvim report Newcastle United and Brighton are looking for defensive reinforcements in the January transfer window and they could offer something in the region of €10m to Besiktas to land the 30 year old.
Vida has been a key player for Abdullah Avci’s side this season but the because of the Turkish club’s current financial situation club he may be allowed to leave so they can strengthen in other areas.
Since helping Croatia to last year’s World Cup final, the player has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League, with Newcastle United and Brighton being the latest English clubs.
The veteran defender been in great form for Besiktas since the start of the season and has made 14 appearances for the Istanbul club.
He’s under contract at the Vodafone Park until June 2022.
