Bayern Munich’s Kim Min-jae has ended up Newcastle United and Chelsea’s agenda for the summer window.
That’s according to Fussball Transfers, who state all parties are open to doing business for the defender’s transfer.
The 28-year-old joined Bayern Munich from Napoli in July 2023 and both Newcastle and Chelsea are now trying to lure him to England.
Luckily for the Premier League duo, Kim Min-jae is open to making a switch to England.
The centre-back has been featuring regularly for the Bundesliga giants, playing 42 games in all competitions this season.
His performances have been subjected to criticism, especially after Inter Milan eliminated Bayern Munich from the Champions League earlier this week. Therefore, the report states the South Korea international could be on the move after this season.
Fussball Transfers state both Newcastle and Chelsea have already held concrete talks with Kim Min-jae’s agent. Bayern Munich could be open to a sale if the Magpies or the Blues were to offer €50m for him.
It’s possible Newcastle and Chelsea are used as a means to divert the attention from the recent criticism. If their interest is genuine, the British press is likely to back this up in the coming days.
