Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic has offers on the table from England and Spain, amid claims Newcastle United are keen on him.
That’s according to Sky Italia, relayed by FC Inter News, who cover the Serie A side’s attempts to renew the Croatian this summer.
Perisic has reinvented himself as a wing-back for the Italians this season with a series of impressive performances pushing their efforts to defend the Scudetto.
He’s earned himself plenty of admirers, particularly as his contract expires this summer, and he is yet to renew.
Newcastle are known to be keen, and a report earlier this month stated they were the ones offering the most money so far.
Sky Italia now cover the situation and say Inter have increased their in the last meeting with his agents, taking it to €5m plus bonuses.
An answer is expected on Friday as after that point; there will be no further meetings between the two parties.
If he decides to go elsewhere, there are offers from England and Spain, although there is no specific mention of Newcastle or the other interested parties.
Ultimately the decision will be Perisic’s to make as there is a difference of around €1m in the offers he has, a figure which is ‘really minimal’ and seems unlikely to be a deciding factor.
