Aaron Ramsey has lost prominence at Juventus, following Massimiliano Allegri’s return to the club.
On October 11th, Calciomercato stated Newcastle United are in the picture to sign the 30-year-old. He earns €7m net per season and the Old Lady are looking to cut ties with him in the winter market, in order to save on his high wages.
It was also said the midfielder ‘changes his mind’ and is looking for a move in January, after deciding not to change clubs in the summer.
These claims are backed by Sport Mediaset, who add the ex-Arsenal man has emerged as an ‘idea’ for the Tyneside club.
Various other Italian outlets have explained the Wales international is emerging as a target for the Magpies.
Ramsey has enjoyed more minutes with the national team that with the Turin club this season.
His recent comments hinting blame at Juve’s medical staff have not pleased the club’s supporters. Il Bianconero, when providing an update on the player, state Newcastle are ‘in pole’ position to take Ramsey.
With Newcastle showing interest, Tutto Juve explain Juve ‘will do everything’ to convince the Welshman to join the English club.
Having rejected approaches from elsewhere in the last window, there is belief Ramsey ‘could say yes’ to the Magpies’ ‘new and ambitious’ project in January.
