Sampdoria have no plans to let their player leave the club in the winter market and therefore, Steve Bruce’s side are looking to sign Colley after this campaign. The defender’s contract with the Italian side expires in 2022.

TMW doesn’t make it clear if Newcastle will start contacts with Sampdoria or with the player. In addition to this, there’s no mention if either Colley or his employer are open to the idea of transfer, even if it’s in the summer.
