VfB Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy remains ‘on the list’ at Newcastle United and Manchester United for the summer, despite not moving for him in January.
That’s according to SportBILD, who say the Premier League duo are watching the player and no ‘concrete negotiations’ have taken place as yet.
Guirassy has long been linked with a move away from Stuttgart after his impressive goalscoring feats in Germany this season, with his record of a goal every 62 minutes currently better than Harry Kane for Bayern Munich.
With 17 goals in 14 games, he’s helped propel Stuttgart up the table and that’s put him on the list at Newcastle and Manchester United.
He is also an issue at Borussia Dortmund and Bayern, although there have been no concrete negotiations, and any deal will be left until the summer.
He can leave for around €20m at that point thanks to a clause in his current contract, making him a bargain for the Premier League duo given he’s valued at around €40m.
Stuttgart are happy with that figure anyway given he only cost them €9m, so there’s a deal there to be done for Newcastle and Manchester United if they decide they want a new striker in the summer.
