Stanley N’Soki will not be taking part today as PSG face Inter Milan in a preseason friendly, reports RMC’s Loic Tanzi.
This comes just hours after L’Equipe reported an offer had arrived from Newcastle United for the PSG youngster. The Premier League side have pushed a bid of €8m forward, but this isn’t enough to please the French champions.
They’re looking for €15m, although L’Equipe made it clear that, in private, sporting director Leonardo has suggested the club will accept €12m.
The Magpies also tried to sign him towards the end of the last summer window. On deadline day it was reported N’Soki’s entourage thought a deal was wobbling, after they’d already agreed terms with Newcastle.
They were right to worry, with the player staying where has was.
Update: Since his earlier claim, Loic Tanzi has now tweeted that N’Soki is suffering from ‘muscle discomfort’.
