Loic Bade has impressed for Sevilla this season and that’s attracted interest from the Premier League.
Liverpool have sent scouts to watch the Frenchman play in the past few weeks and Newcastle have also drawn links with the centre-back.
While the talk of interest from clubs was refuted yesterday, encouragement has been provided to both Newcastle and Liverpool.
Estadio Deportivo report today that Sevilla currently have limited financial resources and that can only change with a big sale. This could lead to Bade’s exit in January and if a big offer arrives from either Newcastle or Liverpool, the Andalusians will struggle to say ‘no’.
The outlet seems confident that both the Reds and Magpies are positioning themselves well for the signature of the player, with Sevilla already said to be seeking potential replacements.
The club are aware that they will lose a player of Bade’s ability but their financial situation means that they could be forced into a sale.
The France international has a long-term deal at Sevilla and the contract has a release clause worth €60m. There is an indication that either of the two clubs would have to come close to that fee, if they are to land Bade.
