You’re bored of Simone Zaza stories, we’re bored of Simone Zaza stories.
You know what, Simone Zaza is probably bored of Simone Zaza stories, but updates keep coming, and updates need to be covered.
The Juventus striker, currently on loan at West Ham, once appeared to be Napoli bound, but that isn’t the case anymore, and a move to Valencia appears to be the likeliest outcome, unless AC Milan have anything to do with it.
According to Plaza Deportivo on Monday morning, the Serie A club are new competition for the La Liga side, who are reported to have started talks with the player’s entourage about a possible January transfer, with Valencia in desperate need of a goalscorer.
A loan, due to financial limitations, would be the likeliest outcome, and with Cesare Prandelli highlighting Zaza as the ideal man to solve his attacking issues, Juventus would be happy to do it, as long as they can include a compulsory buy-out clause after a certain amount of appearances.
Juventus are said to prefer sending the striker abroad rather than to a direct Serie A competitor, which puts Valencia in pole position for this one.
Milan, down their end, want to get rid of Luiz Adriano, and with Carlos Bacca’s future possibly far from San Siro, a striker could be needed.
Still, Plaza reckon Zaza has a good chance of ending up at the Mestalla.
