Last week saw reports from the Dutch and English media of a meeting between Manchester United and Erik ten Hag.
The meeting was apparently held on Monday 21st March and the Dutch slant was that the chat had gone well. It was made clear that other clubs have also been interested in the Ajax manager, but the Red Devils were thought to be the most interesting, in terms of size.
Manchester United were also said to have other options, with Mauricio Pochettino being one of those. Now there’s fresh claims from France to back that up.
Foot Mercato report there’s been a ‘new meeting’ between Pochettino and the Premier League club. There’s no exact date given, just that it happened recently.
According to the report, the prospect of seeing the PSG manager move to Old Trafford this summer is ‘more real than ever’.
Despite that, it’s made clear Manchester United have told the Argentine that they ‘do not intend to rush’ the process.
