After appointing club legend Fatih Terim as their manager for the fourth time, Galatasaray are now looking to strengthen the squad in the January transfer window.
According to Turkey’s Fanatik, one of the players Terim has identified is Everton’s Kevin Mirallas, and the club’s board will start to do the groundwork on a possible deal with the Premier League side… by finding out their financial demands.
Cim-Bom only have two recognised wingers in their squad and Fanatik say Terim is keen on adding quality in the wide attacking areas by signing the Everton player.
The Turkish newspaper also say Terim is keen to use Mirallas alongside former Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis, just like in the Belgian’s earlier playing days at Lille.
We recently covered reports from Greece that the 30 year old is keen to join his former team Olympiacos, but Everton’s demands are proving a stumbling block for the transfer.
With the World Cup in Russia fast approaching, the Belgium international may need to find a club which can give him more playing time, and Galatasaray could offer this.
