After appointing Philipp Cocu as their new manager, Fanatik claim Fenerbahce have switched their attention to Arsenal’s David Ospina.

Fanatik report that after Arsenal signed Bernd Leno, Fenerbahce’s hopes of getting the Colombian goalkeeper have increased and the Yellow Canaries are hoping he’ll be their goalkeeper for next season.

According to Fanatik, Cocu has given the green light to sign Ospina and Fenerbahce officials are ready to open official talks for the Arsenal player in the near future.

The Turkish giants were linked with a move for the 28 year old last summer and Fanatik believe the transfer is looking more likely this summer.

Ospina has also been linked with a move to Tigres, but Fenerbahce are hoping to get ahead of the Mexican club. With Ospina currently at the World Cup, both clubs will have to wait until after the competition.

Ospina played 21 games for Arsenal last season and only has a year left on his Arsenal contract.
