We all love to see footballers giving back and so we’re sure Everton fans will be delighted to see their new man, Iliman N’Diaye, doing just that.

Taggat Inside cover the player today and how this summer he’s returned to his childhood neighbourhoods of Cambérène and HLM in Senegal to give back to the communities where he grew up.

It’s already been a big summer for the 24-year-old, who completed a move to Everton from Marseille on July 3rd in an €18m deal.

It’s the latest move in what’s already been a varied career for the forward, which saw him start in France with FC Rouen Youth before joining Marseille’s youth set up.

He returned to Senegal four years later with Sacré-Cœur but moved to England in 2016, joining Boreham Wood and then later Sheffield United, where he shone and eventually earned a move to Marseille last summer.

That didn’t work out as planned and he’s now at Everton, who are hoping he can be the creative spark Sean Dyche’s side need.

It seems, though, he doesn’t want to forget about where he’s come from and Taggat report he’s spent some of this summer back in Senegal.

According to them he returned to his childhood neighbourhoods as part of a collaboration with the Classico Sports M Foundation and the NGO Peace and Sport, spending time with the young people of the area and offering them ‘inspiring advice’ during organised sessions and matches.

It’s a nice touch from the Everton man, and something we’re sure will earn him plenty of fans at Goodison Park too, given the Toffees own commitment to charity work with Everton in the Community.
