French side Strasbourg have become the latest team to show an interest in Tottenham defender Davinson Sánchez.

That’s according to Colombian journalist Diego Rueda, who says they are ‘in negotiations’ with Tottenham over a possible transfer this summer.

Sánchez does not appear to be a part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans moving forwards and, as a result, have been linked with numerous clubs already this summer.

PSV Eindhoven, Real Betis and clubs in both Turkey and Russia are believed to be on the defender’s trail, looking to take advantage of the fact he’s in the final year of his contract at Tottenham to secure a cut price deal.

Strasbourg can now be added to the list, with Rueda stating that they are ‘in negotiations’ with Tottenham over a deal this summer.

He makes no mention of a transfer fee but does say that the two clubs are working to ‘reach an agreement’ in terms of the player’s salary.

He offers no more information than that at this moment in time, so it doesn’t appear as if anything is imminent, just that Sánchez has a new suitor in talks for him as he seemingly gears up to leave Tottenham.
