Crysencio Summerville arrived at West Ham United from Leeds United in the summer window.

The winger arrived in England for the first time when the Championship side took him from Feyenoord in 2020. The West Ham man climbed through the ranks of the Dutch club’s youth system between 2008 and 2018.

He was never given an opportunity to represent their senior team and the Eredivisie side sent the 23-year-old out on loan to FC Dordrecht and ADO Den Haag between 2018 and 2020.

Viaplay in the Netherlands have been speaking to the former Whites man and asked about the possibility of him returning to his former club.

They pointed out the West Ham player left Feyenoord without representing their first team and then asked if he hopes to return to Rotterdam. When responding to that, the Dutchman has left the door open for a move back to his old club.

“Feyenoord will always have a nice place in my heart. I started there. That’s where it started. And in football, you never know. I say never, never,” he said.

“Who knows one day at the end of my career if I want to return, I know they will embrace me there with both arms. It’s what I say. Never say never. Feyenoord is a warm club, so who knows.”

Summerville starred for Daniel Farke’s side last season, scoring 21 goals and registering 10 assists from 49 matches. The attacker hasn’t yet managed to replicate his Leeds form for West Ham and has a goal and an assist from 17 matches this season.
