Fernando Llorente made his name at Athletic Club Bilbao, where he scored over a hundred goals before leaving on a free transfer, having fallen out with those in charge at the club.

But there have been some other good spells, including his two year stay at Juventus, where he scored 27 goals in 92 matches. The Spaniard will be hoping to replicate that for Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham.

Llorente has spoken to the Italian media on Wednesday, and was asked if he would return to the Old Lady someday. The Tottenham striker made it clear that he loved his spell there, and didn’t rule it out.

“I have spent two of the most beautiful years of my life as a bianconero. Juve is like a family for me. Coming back in the future? Never say never, but I’m fine at Tottenham,” the 32-year-old told Premium Sport. (via Calcio Mercato)

Since signing on a £13.5m deal from Swansea City this summer, Llorente has only made seven appearances for Tottenham so far, and is still to score a goal.

He managed to put in a good display against Real Madrid on Tuesday night, so maybe Pochettino will give him more chances to play alongside Harry Kane this season.
