Union Berlin forward Sheraldo Becker has admitted “you never know what will happen” as he continues to be linked with Nottingham Forest.
Reports over the last month or so have linked Forest with a move for Becker as they look to spend money strengthening in the January transfer window.
The forward is reportedly one of the names on their list of options after impressing in Germany this season with a tally of seven goals in 15 games in the Bundesliga and eight in 23 in all competitions.
Kicker cover that today, explaining there has been a ‘lot of talk and writing’ about the Becker, who is currently at a training camp with Union.
Nottingham Forest and other Premier League clubs are said to have ‘recently signalled interest’ in him, leading to fears that the German side were set to lose their top goal scorer.
It seems the player has no interest in the move, though, insisting his focus is fully on his current club when asked about the alleged interest from Nottingham Forest and others.
“I have a contract, I’m staying,” Kicker report him saying.
“You never know what will happen in the future, but my focus is on Union now. And if I stay, I will give everything for Union, in every game, in every training session.”
