Things are moving very quickly on Steven Bergwijn to Tottenham Hotspur.
There were earlier claims that the attacker wouldn’t be available for PSV today, for the match against FC Twente, with Spurs interest presented as the reason why.
Jose Mourinho has been looking for an attacking addition this month, and Bergwijn is able to play in a number of positions. He’s also effective in them, with an impressive five goals and ten assists in 16 league matches this season.
The Dutch edition of Fox Sports now reports PSV are selling the 22 year old to Tottenham. There’s no details on transfer fee or anything like that, just that the transfer is happening and Bergwijn will become a Tottenham player.
Other Dutch outlets are now starting to carry the Fox claims, but, at this minute at least, there’s no other source independently presenting it as agreed.
Fox have a TV channel in the Netherlands and the claims are also presumably being carried there.
