Tuttosport will likely now have a daily update on Juventus’ transfer situation, and on Monday they go over everything again.
Matteo Darmian is of course a big part of things, and it’s stated ‘negotiations are well under way’ to make his signing official and that of goalkeeper Matia Perin from Genoa.
The transfer is once again put at a 90% likelihood and Tuttosport can’t push this one any further forward now without coming out and saying it’s done. But, still, despite all of that there’s no mention of what the price is going to be.
Calciomercato today estimate it at around €15m, which sounds reasonable for both clubs involved.
Once that transfer is finally completed it will give Manchester United more freedom to go after their own fullback targets, with the European media linking Jose Mourinho with interest in a whole range of options.
Darmian signed for the English club from Torino in 2015 and has a year left on his contract at Old Trafford, although there’s an option to extend it for a further season.
There’s been no change in how Tuttosport see the chances of Juventus signing Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial, with those two still put at 30% and 45% respectively.
