Sergio Reguilon being left out of Tottenham Hotspur’s touring squad was a pretty big sign that he’ll be allowed to leave the club this summer.

For whatever reason, Antonio Conte hasn’t been impressed with the Spaniard and it’s now a case of finding a new home for him, and the type of deal he could leave on.

The squad exclusion took Spanish clubs by surprise, it’s clear there were no advanced efforts for Reguilon from La Liga, and the situation started to make clubs consider signing him.

One of those clubs is Sevilla, who Spurs face this weekend in a friendly… obviously without the fullback.

Saturday’s edition of AS states Sevilla’s interest began due to Conte’s decision, and it’s explained ‘negotiations are on the table’, although there’s no indication of how far things have got.

Reading between the lines, it would appear the club are considering Reguilon, but not yet lunging decisively forward.

It’s likely they’d be looking for a loan move, if they’re to take the player away from Tottenham.
