Timm Klose’s contract at Norwich City runs down in 2019 and his future now lies away from Carrow Road, if the reports in Germany are to be believed.
Bild claims Hannover are interested in the centre-back and the negotiations between the two clubs are in ‘full swing’. He started in the Canaries’ 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United over the weekend and the report suggests he could play for the Bundesliga side later this week.
André Breitenreiter’s side have been in negotiation with the Championship club since last Thursday and the two clubs are in talks for a fee between €2 to €3m for the Swiss international.
The English outfit have made it clear Klose will not be handed a new deal. Bild claims the defender’s former club Basel have also shown interest in the former Wolfsburg man and a decision on his future will be taken today.
Norwich would be happy to cash in from the player’s sale this month, rather than allowing him leave for nothing next summer.
