Ruslan Malinovskyi has been linked to Tottenham Hotspur repeatedly this week, after the Ukraine international was thought to be of interest to Nottingham Forest.
Spurs were said to have overtaken the newly promoted Premier League club in the race for the 29-year-old, and Atalanta are open to a sale. Malinovskyi has fallen out with the Serie A club’s manager Gian Piero Gasperini, which has opened up the possibility of an exit.
He’s had six minutes of Serie A action so far this season and managed to get an assist in a 2-0 victory over Sampdoria. During the last campaign, he made 41 appearances, contributing ten goals and seven assists, and playing in a variety of positions.
Tuttomercatoweb report Tottenham are in the picture for the signing, and they say the ‘negotiation can soon begin’. There’s a possibility of Sergio Reguillon going the other way, with the Spaniard out of Antonio Conte’s core plans this season.
Reguillon had been expected to return to Spain, but there’s nothing especially concrete for him in that respect. Therefore, the prospect of a move to Atalanta could be considered.
TMW don’t suggest any figures for either of the potential deals.
