Even though Watford seem to be improving under the charge of Javi Gracia, especially after the 4-1 win over Chelsea, there would still be a reason why the club changes made in January are making people concerned.

The Hornets have not only changed managers, but also brought a few other players to the club, which naturally meant benching others.

That’s the case of André Carrillo, who had been a regular starter and an important player under Marco Silva, but now has barely played under Gracia, mostly because of the arrival of Gerard Deulofeu.

As reported by the Peruvian edition of AS today, this is a reason why national team manager Ricardo Gareca is a bit worried about the situation.

Carrillo is seen as one of the biggest Peruvian stars, and the fact he isn’t getting enough game time is a concern about how he’ll do at the World Cup.

Even though the player is expected to have a guaranteed spot in the squad, Ricardo Careca is not sure he would be 100% ready to play the tournament if he continues to get little playing time.

But to be fair to Watford and Gracia, that’s not their problem really.
