Valencia and the Valencia media seem to be talking themselves into more Shkodran Mustafi worry than they really need at the moment. Despite there being plenty of Arsenal move reports, there has been no bid made yet.

On Monday, the Valencia media continued to have Mustafi’s future as a major story, showing that they clearly expect some kind of approach sooner or later. It’s because a move to Arsenal makes so much sense that a transfer is obvious.

The German international would suit the club and the player looks to be just what Arsene Wenger needs at the moment.

As we put it yesterday: ‘The German international spent time in his early career with Everton, so he knows England. Mustafi is familar with several players in the Arsenal squad, due to his international career.

He’s 24, yet has a huge amount of experience, including playing for Sampdoria in Serie A, and he can also operate at right back, providing an option for those expected/unexpected injury crisis periods.’

Get it done.

On Tuesday, Super Deporte say that Valencia have moved to deny Mustafi has been missing training because of an impending Arsenal move. That feeling would be that the player either didn’t want to train, or the club didn’t want him to, in case he suffered a transfer ending injury.

It shows how jittery Valencia may be, because Mustafi was injured in training last week, there were photographs to prove it, there’s not really anything odd about him then missing full contact training sessions. And there hasn’t been a raft of claims of claims suggesting otherwise.
