The Italian media this evening bring some updates on the situation of Everton owned Moise Kean, who’s been struggling with injury in the past few days.

As reported by L’Equipe this week, the striker had a ‘knee contusion’ at the weekend, and some rest during the international break would be enough for his recovery.

However, according to Sky Italia, the striker has left the national team camp due to a new blow. He’s said to be on his way back to Paris, and in the meantime, they’ve called up Stefano Okaka to replace him.

Sky Italia only mention ‘physical issues’, and when covering it, Tutto Mercato Web says it’s a ‘muscle injury’. That seems to be a different issue from the one which affected him in the PSG match at the weekend.

With five goals in five matches this season, Moise Kean is having a good start at PSG, which could undoubtedly have some impact on whether the French side will want to buy him from Everton in the future.

Now both sides will want to know the latest on his fitness issues.
