This week, Portuguese newspaper A Bola say that claims from Brazil over Manchester United and Eder Militao just back up what they themselves have been saying for a while.

Online, it’s stated Mourinho ‘insists’ on the player and in their newspaper edition, A Bola explain how that’s been the case for a while, along with interest from Chelsea.

It was actually Duncan Castles who first pushed the Militao to Manchester United claims via his transfer podcast, and given he was first with Diogo Dalot making the move from Porto to Old Trafford, it’s probably worth taking notice of.

Agent Kia Joorabchian is now involved and trying to push any potential price right up to the defender’s €50m buyout clause, which Porto would be very happy with.

He’s working alongside Giuliano Bertollucci, as often happens, and those two names would be familiar to Chelsea fans, with the agents managing much of the clubs Brazilian linked business.

Brazilian claims in recent days said Mourinho had personally picked up the telephone to try and smooth through things at the Porto end, but the €50m continues to be pushed forward.
