In the past month, we covered a couple of reports from the Italian media regarding Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in AS Roma winger Nicola Zalewski.

Following stories claiming Antonio Conte is ‘literally crazy’ for the 20-year-old, it was said that Spurs had ‘made enquiries’ with the player’s entourage.

At the time, it was already reported that Roma and José Mourinho were not interested in letting Zalewski move to Tottenham, and now it seems the player isn’t keen on the transfer either.

Voice Giallorossa today features a story claiming the player ‘feels at home’ at the club and ‘is perfectly fine’ where he is.

They recall that the interest from Tottenham and PSG showed up following Roma’s games against Leicester City in the Conference League last season, even though it seems there were no big attempts in the summer.

Zalewski is even rumoured to be in talks for a new contract with the Giallorossi, even though the report claims there are no contacts for an extension now.

It’s said there’s ‘no rush’, with confidence that he’s feeling comfortable at the club.
