The mother of Leeds United linked Pierre-Michel Lasogga has told the German media, Klaus-Michael Kuhne shouldn’t comment on football matters.

Yesterday the Hamburg investor branded the Leeds United target ‘the flop of the century’.

Quoted bySpiegel.de, Kerstin Lasogga was asked about comments Kuhne made about the Hamburg player: “I am a bit surprised at these statements, but he doesn’t have any idea about football. The investor constantly criticises the coach, manager and individual players – and without any knowledge of the situation.”

Lasogga has been linked with a move to Leeds United this month after falling out of a favour at Hamburg. The 25 year old was invited to Elland Road last weekend, and it seemed likely he would move to Leeds United.

However, it’s been suggested in the German press Lasogga isn’t too sure about a transfer to the Championship side, with the player having concerns about getting ahead of Chris Wood in the team.

Leeds United also have issues with the salary Lasogga receives at Hamburg, with reports the forward earns €3m+ a season with the Bundesliga side. If they were to loan the former U21 international they would have to contribute a percentage of his wage.
